General Grants - $10,000 & Under 2026/27

Welcome to the Community Trust South’s online grant application system, powered by SmartyGrants.

You may begin anywhere in this application form. Please ensure you save as you go.

UPLOADING DOCUMENTS

You will need to have the following information to upload as part of your application (where applicable)  

  • for one off projects - quotes (if applicable).
  • AGM minutes, or if no AGM your latest Committee/Meeting minutes relevant to the application.
  • latest annual financial statements.
  • your organisation’s bank account name and number and verification (i.e. bank coded deposit slip or bank verified account details)
  • for operating grants - annual operating budget for the forthcoming year
  • any other supporting documents you may wish to provide.

NAVIGATING (MOVING THROUGH) THE APPLICATION FORM

The application form is easy to navigate using a contents panel or next/previous page buttons. You can save a draft at any time and return later via My Submissions. Applications (draft or submitted) can also be downloaded as a PDF.

Before submitting, you must review the application. Submission is only possible once all required fields are completed and there are no errors. After submission, no changes or further uploads are allowed. A confirmation email with a copy of your application will be sent—if you don’t receive one, your application has not been submitted.

Attachments must be uploaded from your device, allowing time for each upload. Files can be up to 25MB, though smaller files are recommended. Teams can collaborate using the same login (or Smartyfile), but only one person should work at a time.
