We define professional artists, activators and practitioners as those who undertake their activities either as a major part of their working life (rather than as a pastime), as their predominant job and/or receive compensation (through wages, sales, fees, commissions, salaries etc).

Consideration will be given to those who have lived in the Trust's area for three years or more and whose immediate family still reside here, but you have left the province to:

  • access specialist training related to your art, heritage or culture  
  • attend boarding school or
  • undertake tertiary study
  • and can show evidence of ongoing connection/involvement/giving back to art, heritage, or culture in the Trust region.
